Attractive - and I deem simply never used! - multi-coloured (and I deem 'tin-metal'-based-) so-called: 'door-plaque' (ie. 'Türplakette') entitled: 'Winterhilfswerk 1933-34 - Wir haben geholfen'

The attractive and somewhat larger-sized, Third-Reich-period (door)plaque (having a diameter of approximately 9,8 cms.) depicts an illustration of a typical flame with behind a swastika-sign and is surrounded with the text as mentioned above (as can be seen on the pictures). The plaque shows three tiny holes for screwing ie. attaching the plaque to a doorpost: as such the residents could be identified as members ie. participating supporters of this TR-organisation. The piece shows no damage whatsoever (and was - I deem - never cleaned nor polished) and has very nice and pronouned detail. It retains a typical multi-coloured- and nicely sprayed 'age-patina' and shows some minimal handling over the years (it was never door-attached). Simply a decorative - and with certainty that not that often seen! - WHW- (ie. 'Winterhilfswerke'-) related door-plaque ie. 'Türplakette'!
