WH (Kriegsmarine) metall-based, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as was intended to signify the rank ie. function of: 'Obermaat der Küstenmarine- o. Küstenartillerie'

This is an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) neatly metal-based, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as executed in bright-golden-toned aluminium onto a typical darker-blue-coloured (and/or woolen-based) 'backing' as was specifically intended to signify the rank ie. function of: 'Obermaat der Küstenmarine- o. Küstenartillerie' and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem probably issued- albeit simply never used- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which was to be mounted on the upper-arm-regions of the various white-coloured, naval-tunics - depicts a detailed and bright-golden-coloured 'winged-shell-device'-device and shows a single rank-chevron (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece does show extraordinary craftmenship and is additonally backed with beige-toned linnen as more often seen. The piece just shows some minimal age ie. staining caused by decades of storage only. It sounds maybe strange but all WH (Kriegsmarine) career- ie. specialist-armbadges as specifically related to the various naval 'Küsten-Artillerie'-units are truly very hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive example that is I deem with certainty accordingly priced!
