This is an attractive - albeit moderately used- and/or worn! - example of an early- (ie. mid-) war-period WH (Luftwaffe) silver-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based EM/NCO-type belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe') that comes in a just moderately used- ie. worn-, condition. The buckle - which is of a 'dual-pieced'-construction (having a separately-attached front-plate in place) retains almost all of its somewhat 'shiny', silverish-grey-coloured finish without showing any real defaults: it does, however, show some moderate age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle shows some obvious dust caused by over more than 80 years of storage. The buckle itself is non-maker-marked as is more often observed (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates from a older belt-buckle-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive, early- (ie. mid-) war period 'Luftwaffe'-example that is I deem accordingly priced!
