Superb, aluminium-based, WH (LW) ie. 'Flieger'-related ID-disc bearing the stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'II./J.Geschw. 26 Stabsk.' (and as such belonging to a staff-member ie. pilot serving within the famous: 'Jagdgeschwader 26')

This is a very attractive - and with certainty scarcely seen! - example of a silver-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based, WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Flieger'- (ie. pilots) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'II./J.Geschw. 26 Stabsk.' (and as such belonging to a staff-member ie. pilot serving within the staff-company with the second 'Staffel' of the famous: 'Jagdgeschwader 26') and that came still mounted onto its period cord as issued and/or worn. The ID-disc comes in an overall very nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been moderately used ie. worn (as can be noticed on the pictures). The disc - that came mounted onto its period cord as issued and worn - is totally void of the bearers'-blood-group-type something that is more often seen on these ID-discs. The disc originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered. Simply a very attractive and honest, WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Flieger'-related ID-disc that belonged to a member who served within the: 'Stabskompanie/II. Staffel' of the: 'Jagdgeschwader 26' and that is I deem accordingly priced!
