Superb - and just moderately used- and/or worn! - WWI-period: 'Deutsches Reich Abzeichen für Beobachtungsoffiziere'

This is a very attractive - and I deem just moderately used- and/or worn! - WWI-period so-called: 'Deutsches Reich Abzeichen für Beobachtungsoffiziere' (or: WWI observers'-war-badge) being a nicely preserved and fully undamaged example that (I deem) originates from the late thirthies and that comes in an overall nicely preserved, condition. The neat and detailed war-badge - that is totally void of a makers'-designation as more often - is nicely executed in silvered 'Buntmetall' and retains a totally undamaged, mult-coloured-enamelled (firmly attached) and 'checkered' centre-piece and shows the (typical) 'striped' back-plate (ie. 'Strahlenplatte') as to be expected. The award comes mounted onto its totally unaltered (and functional) pin- ie. pin-catch (set-up) as can be noticed on the pictures. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a genuine 'Deutsches Reich Abzeichen für Beobachtungsoffiziere' for a competitive price: just the first such attractive example I had on offer!
