The attractive award is a detailed and clearly maker- (ie. '4'-) marked specimen that is executed in (typical greyish-silver-toned and zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and comes in a moderately used- and/or worn condition. It came as produced, issued and/or stored for decades. The attractive - and I deem typical mid- ie. somewhat later-war-period - specimen is executed in minimally tarnished, greyish-silver-coloured metal and comes in an overall nice- (albeit just moderately worn- and/or used-), condition. The naturally non-magnetic- and/or truly very-vaulted (ie. converse-shaped) cross shows a somewhat tarnished age-patina but has not recently been cleaned or polished as can be seen on the pictures. The cross comes naturally mounted onto its functional (flute-shaped) pin- and/or: period molded-styled catch (ie. catch-set-up) which are both present and unaltered (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - which shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back (as more often encountered by pieces produced by this maker) - comes as found and/or stored for decades. The award has lost most of its (presumably) once present silver-toned finish ie. it is somewhat 'migriert' as more often. Nevertheless, a neat occasion to acquire an attractive (and neatly maker-marked!): 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse mit Schwertern' by the: 'Steinhauer & Lück'-company for a justified price!
