This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a 'frosted', golden-toned, early-period (ie. I deem typical 'Reichsmarine'-related) so-called: 'single-pattern'-eagle-pin being a non-marked example as was specifically intended for attachment onto the (darker-blue- ie. white-topped-) so-called: 'Schirmmützen' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used- ie. most certainly once visor-cap-attached-), condition. The piece on offer here is the so-called: 'one-pieced'-model, showing a golden-toned, eagle-device that was clearly used ie. worn but that, nevertheless, retains most (ie. all!) of its 'frosted', golden-toned finish: it is a piece that is neatly: 'feuervergoldet'. The eagle-pin was - I deem - never cleaned and comes as recently found (it does show some minimal staining). The piece comes of course mounted onto its original, full-sized, pin. Simply a nice and/or fairly scarcely encountered naval ie. 'Reichsmarine'-related replacement-piece that is I deem, accordingly priced!
