This is a very interesting - and with certainty quite rarely found! - 'Reichsbund Deutsche Jägerschaft'- (ie. 'RDJ'-) related, so-called identity- (ie. service-) badge (or: in German language): 'Dienstabzeichen für Berufsjäger und Jagdaufseher' that is showing the (typical) sunburst, swastika and andler-illustration coupled with the text: 'Jagd Aufseher' (or: wild-life guardian) and that is bearing a unique serial- (ie. bearers'-) numeral that reads: '21996' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly ie. moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The somewhat larger-sized and shield-shaped piece measures 5,7 x 4,8 cms. and is executed in bright-silver-toned aluminium and does show a clearly present makers'-designation that reads: 'Hoffstätter - Bonn'. The neat piece is totally void of any damage (and was never or cleaned): it comes, moreover, mounted onto its still functional pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and rarely found! - 'Dienstabzeichen für Berufsjäger und Jagdaufseher' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
