This is a very attractive - and I deem only moderately used and/or minimally tarnished - so-called: 'Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen' (or: General Assault Badge ie. GAB), being a neatly maker- (ie. 'A'-marked-) and/or typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based version that was procuced by the: 'Assmann'-company and that comes in an overall very nice- (and in my opinion only moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The badge on offer here concerns a (presumably mid- ie. later-war-period-) zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based- and/or 'molded'-pattern specimen that retains most of its silver-coloured finish: the piece has a typical 'zinc-like'- appearance, showing nice detail and/or finish as to be expected. The badge has never been cleaned nor polished (and is still also a tiny bit dirty ie. stained- ie. tarnished as mentioned above). The neat piece - which is very pronounced and has truly great pronounced detail - naturally shows all the details as to be expected for a badge by this particular maker: moreover, does it show the 'mold-number' that reads: '2' (as can be seen on the pictures). It was found as such at a German private-household and was never before part of a collection. Simply an attractive - scarcely found and detailed! - 'Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen' (or: General Assault Badge ie. GAB) as was produced by the 'Assmann'-company!
