This is an attractive - carefully cap-removed, truly detailed and actually not that easily encountered! - WH (Heeres) officers'-pattern, visor-cap eagle (ie. 'Offiziers-Adler für den Schirmmütze') being a neatly hand-embroidered example that comes mounted onto a typical darker-green-coloured- and/or (smooth) woolen-based background and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem moderately worn- and/or once visor-cap-attached-), condition. These - with certainty 'high-quality'-produced examples - are executed in multi-coloured, silverish 'braid' and are executed onto a typical (smooth) woolen- and/or darker-green-coloured background. The regular-sized eagle has an approximate 'wingspan' of approximately 7 cms. and is not (additionally) backed as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). The cap-eagle was most certainly once cap-attached and does show some stitching- ie. thread-remains ie. holes. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that easily encountered! - Heeres-related officers'-type visor-cap-eagle that would nicely fit to restore any Heeres officers'-type visor-cap- ie. 'Schirmmütze'!
