This is an attractive - and in this uncommonly found combination not that often seen! - two-pieced (and typical non-detachable) medal-bar (ie. 'Doppelspange') respectively depicting a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz ohne Schwertern') and a neatly bronze-toned: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) both pieces coming in an overall nice- (albeit minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. Both awards are truly bronze- (ie. darkened golden-toned) examples that are just minimally tarnished by age and/or moderate usage and wear (as can be seen on the pictures) but are both void of any damage or alike. Both pieces come naturally mounted on their period ribbons and have a nicely preserved age-patina and are just a tiny bit dirty: they were (I deem) never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The entire 'Spange' is neatly 'backed' with a piece of field-grey-coloured wool that shows a (regular-type- and functional) pin- ie. catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' is a non-maker-marked example (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive example of a two-pieced WW1- (ie. TR-) related 'Ordenspange' in an uncommonly found combination that is I deem accordingly priced!
