This is a neat, typical reddish-bronze-toned day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a specific gathering called the: 'Weinfest 1936 - Ober-Ingelheim/Rh.' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in (bright) reddish-bronze-toned- and - I deem- typical zinc- (ie. tin-) based metal - shows a typical, landscape and German-styled wine-glass coupled with the abovementioned text - and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The shield-shaped badge comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up. It should be noted that all tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- or: 'towns'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is I deem accordingly priced!
