  1. Belts & Buckles

This is an attractive - and I deem just moderately used- ie. worn! - example of a post-WWI-period, golden-toned- and/or typical copper- (ie. partly nickle-chrome-based) belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften der Scharnhorstbundes') that shows the typical (and separately-attached) front-plate depicting the typical 'Scharnhorstbund'-logo and that comes in a moderately used and/or overall nicely preserved, condition. The neat buckle - that in my opinion is of a quite early production and that can be dated around 1925 - truly retains all of its somewhat 'shiny'-styled, golden-coloured finish without showing any defaults: it was never cleaned and is just a tiny bit dirty ie. stained (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle only shows some dust caused by over more than 100 years of storage only. The buckle itself is unmarked (something that is more often observed) as can be noticed on the pictures). These neat belt-buckles were worn (during the period of the 'Weimarer Republik') and signified membership within the: 'Scharnhorstbund'. The neat piece was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. Simply an attractive, post-WWI-period-example that is priced according to its used albeit still overall nicely preserved, condition!
