Attractive - and actually very scarcely found! - post-WWI-period- (ie. 'Freikorps'-related) arm-badge ie. shield entitled: 'Einwohnerwehr München 1919'

This is an attractive - and actually very scarcely found! - post WWI- (ie. naturally pre-WWII-) period- (ie. 'Freikorps'-related) arm-badge ie shield that is entitled: 'Einwohnerwehr München 1919' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit in my opinion truly used- ie. worn-,) condition. The neat shield - that was designed to signify membership within a WWI-veteran- and/or München-based 'Freikorps'-related organisation - measures approximately 6 x 47 cms. and is executed in zinc-based material and shows a detailed illustration of an armed saint surrounded by the text: 'Einwohnerwehr München 1919' (all on a green-toned background). These particular arm-shields were worn on the right upper-arm and were attached onto a specific white-and-blue-striped armband (ie. 'Armbinde') by means of the 3 punched holes (visible on the left- and right corner and/or bottom). The piece on offer here was I deem used and does show some obvious albeit minimal age, wear and/or staining as can be noticed on the pictures. This example originates from an older collection of interesting, pre-1933 ie. 'Freikorps'-related insignia and badges that I recently acquired for the web-site. I deem that I did price this attractive - and very scarcely encountered! - so-called: 'Ärmelschild des Einwohnerwehr München 1919', accordingly!
