This is an attractive - somewhat vaulted- ie. converse-shaped and I deem hardly used nor worn! - example of an: 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class assault-badge ie. IAB) being a typical non-maker-marked, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen (of the so-called: 'crimped scooped rifle-variant') as was (I deem) procuded by the: 'S&L'- (ie. 'Steinhauer u. Lück'-) company and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued- and/or just minimally used-), condition. The war-badge is a typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example that truly retains most of its silverish-grey-toned-coloured finish: it retains a typical 'Feinzink'-like age-patina. This particular example comes naturally mounted onto its fully functional (thin-shaped- and/or silver-coloured) pin which shows a typical mounting and/or catch as to be expected. The piece is truly detailed and has a pronounced appearance: the award has (I deem) hardly been used: it was, however, most certainly never cleaned nor polished. It originated from a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. The maker of this particular IAB is (I deem) the: 'Steinhauer u. Lück'-company and it deals with an uncommonly encountered so-called: 'crimped scooped rifle-variant'. In any case a very attractive - and honest! - silver-class IAB that is most certainly accordingly priced!
