This is a neat - very detailed and I deem clearly and/or worn - example of a WH (Heeres) greyish-silver-coloured and minimally tarnished, so-called: 'M43'-pattern cap-badge (ie. 'Mützenabzeichen') depicting three: 'Eichenlaub'-branches as was used by the various 'Jäger'-related, divisional-staff throughout the war. The piece - which is executed in greyish-silver-coloured- and (I deem) typical zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') is void of a makers'-designation (as more often) and misses its prongs: it shows 4 holes with which the piece was once cap-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge is a tiny bit stained but was never cleaned nor polished. Simply a great occasion to acquire a 100% original - and truly used! - 'Jäger'-related cap-badge for a competitive price!
