Superb, mid- (ie. later-) war-period - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) woolen-based- and/or bright-red-piped: 'Sturmgeschütze'-collar-tabs each having a 'Feinzink'-based and 'two-pronged' skull-device (ie. 'Totenkopf') period-attached
Category:
The truly very attractive - and with certainty rarely found! - WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-collar-tab- (ie. 'Kragenspiegel'-) pair is as stated above fully matching and both pieces show the brownish-yellow-coloured- (and/or: typical 'buckram'-based) backings in place and do show both a detailed, zinc (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based and 'two-pronged' skull-device (ie. 'Totenkopf') period-attached: both skulls - which are of the 'two-pronged'- pattern - are still firmly attached onto the tabs (and retain both their copper-based prongs in place as can be seen on the pictures). The pair - which has the neat typical, 'silk-like'-type- and/or bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured piping attached - is executed in darker-green-toned wool and comes in a presumably issued (albeit I deem never used- nor tunic-attached-), condition: the pair only shows some obvious storage-age as to be expected. As such, it would, however, be an excellent pair to restore any field-grey-coloured, 'Sturmgeschütze' 'wrap-around'-tunic. This particular 'Sturmgeschütze'-collar-tab-pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive, original and/or fully matching, mid- (ie. later-) war-period 'Sturmgeschütze'-collar-tab-pair that can easily be graded 'fairly rare' and that is nowadays almost impossible to encounter!
