Stunning, 'EK1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st class) being a typical: 'L/11'- (ie. by 'Wilh. Deumer'-marked) example and that comes complete (with its rare LDO-etiket!) in its specific LDO-styled etui as issued and/or recently found

This is a truly very attractive - fully complete and I deem just mininimally used- and/or worn! - example of an: 'Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse' (ie. Iron Cross 1st class) being an (I deem) mid-war-period produced (and/or: 'L/11'- ie. by the company: 'Wilhelm Deumer'-marked) example that comes complete in its specific (and equally nicely preserved!) LDO-styled (and somewhat simplified) etui as issued and/or recently found. The cross - which is a typical non-vaulted ie. non-converse-shaped as more often - has most certainly never been cleaned and retains a superb age-patina and/or great pronounced detail. This example - which is an evident specimen as was produced by the: 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company as based in the town of Lüdenscheid - comes naturally mounted onto its functional set-up and retains a fair bit of its (off-factory) applied polished highlights (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten'). The back of the cross is just minimally stained (but was never cleaned nor polished though). The (flute-shaped) pin and typical catch (ie. set-up) are naturally unaltered and/or fully functional. The somewhat simplified etui comes also in a very fine and complete condition: the black-coloured- and velvet-like interior is also fully present and in place (it does just show some minimal age and/or staining). The cross is - as stated above - an attractive example that was produced by the maker 'Wilhelm Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid (something that can be deducted by the makers'-designation 'L/11' which is stamped onto the back of the pin as more often). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example was found with its (rarely seen!) LDO-etiket that shows the to be expected text: 'Die Herstellung von Orden….' etc. and that it also retains its period inventory-etiket metioning its description and period-price (as can be seen on the pictures). This very nicely preserved example was never part of a collection and was recently found as such at a private-household in Germany. I deem that this very attractive - matching and fully untouched! - IC-set by the 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company is accordingly priced!
