Maker- ie. 'L/18'-marked! - example of a black-class wound-badge (or: 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz') being an example as was produced by the maker: 'B.H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt'

The attractive - and hardly used- nor worn and with certainty not that easily found! - black-class wound-badge (ie. 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz') retains almost all of its original, black-coloured- (and typical satin-styled) finish and has just been minimally used and/or worn. The (magnetic!) wound-badge is - as stated above - a clearly maker- ie. 'L/18'-marked example (as is stamped into the pin) that was with certainty produced by the maker: 'B.H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt' as was based in the town of Pforzheim (as can be seen on the pictures). Of course, are the (regular- ie. thin-shaped- and also magnetic) pin and/or: (typical) catch (-set-up) fully functional and of course present. This piece has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some dust and/or minimal staining as to be expected. Simply a very attractive example of a neatly maker-marked black-class wound-badge!
