I recently uncovered two - fully identical and simply never used nor cap-attached! - examples of the WH (Heeres) greyish-silver-coloured (and just minimally tarnished) so-called: 'M43'-pattern cap-badge (ie. 'Mützenabzeichen') each depicting three: 'Eichenlaub'-branches as were used by the various 'Jäger'-related, divisional-staff throughout the war and that come in a very nice- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-, condition. The neat pieces - which are executed in greyish-silver-coloured- and (I deem) typical zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') are totally void of a makers'-designation (as more often) and retain both their three (fragile but of course still functional and never bent) prongs in place (as can be seen on the pictures). Both cap-badges are just a tiny bit stained but were never cleaned nor polished: they originated from the left-overs of an old distributor or tailor-shop. My asking-price is naturally intended per single specimen. Simply a great occasion to acquire a 100% original 'Jäger'-related cap-badge for a competitive price!
