This is a very attractive - and with certainty not that easily encountered! - (very) early-pattern, 'SS o. Allgemeine-SS' visor-cap skull (ie. 'Totenkopf für Kepi o. Schirmmütze') being a very detailed- and/or (typical) non-maker-marked example as was executed in silver-coloured metal (ie. I deem 'Buntmetall') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The detailed - and pronounced! - cap-skull was most certainly used and/or once worn - is only moderately used and has an almost fully preserved silver-coloured (albeit truly tarnished) surface that still shows excellent detail: it just shows some minimal age- and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece comes naturally mounted on both its (period-attached- and/or never altered- nor damaged) prongs and can as such easily be re-mounted onto a visor-cap or even kepi. Simply a very nice encountered piece of (truly) early-period- and genuine SS-cap-insignia that is with certainty accordingly priced!
