This is an attractive - and actually never before encountered! - period sports'-shirt-patch (ie. 'Abzeichen für das Sporthemd') depicting the typical: "Greif"-'Traditions-Abzeichen' (being intended for staff of the: 'Infanterie-Division 122' "Greif") and that comes in an overall nicely preserved- (and simply never shirt-attached- nor worn- ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The neat patch - sized: 10,5 x 8,2 cms. - is executed on a black-toned (thin-shaped- and linnen-based) background and the depicts the typical 'claw' with above that the text: 'Greif' (as both executed in white-coloured linnen) and shows nice, pronounced detail overall. Simply an attractive - and surely rarely found! - sports'-shirt-patch that was intended for usage by members of the 'Infanterie-Division 122' "Greif"!
