This is an attractive - I deem just minimally used and actually not that easily found! - female-related example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: trade- and/or special-career arm-insignia 'signal-Blitz' (or: 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for a: 'Nachrichtenhelferin des Heeres' (ie. female signals-operator) being a neatly machine-embroidered- (ie. 'BeVo'-woven!) 'variant' on black-coloured linnen that came with a period-photograph of the bearer and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem minimally used- and/or once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat patch is executed in bright-yellow-coloured linnen onto a black-coloured- and/or linnen-based background and shows a (detailed and/or neatly machine-embroidered) 'signal-blitz'-sign. The non-maker-marked patch is not backed and comes in a carefully pre-folded (and clearly tunic-removed!) condition (as can be seen on the pictures). The patch shows some minimal staining simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage and handling over the years. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example came with a period-photograph of the bearer: this photo (sized: 7 x 7 cms.) shows an inked date on its back (that reads: '18-5-42'). It should be noted that these interesting, 'Nachrichtenhelferinnen'-related insignia-pieces are quite difficult to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce'. I deem that I have priced this attractive: 'Abzeichen der Heeres-Nachrichtenhelferinnen'-set, accordingly!
