Attractive - and scarcely found! - EM- (ie. NCO-) pattern, 'Reichsluftschutzbund' (ie. 'RLB'-) service-armband showing an interwoven white cross as intended for an: 'RLB-'Sanitäter o. Feldscher' (ie. air-raid-warden medic)

This is an attractive example of the - actually fairly scarcely encountered! - so-called: RLB (or: 'Reichsluftschutzbund') 'Feldscher'- (ie. 'Sanitäter' or: medical-orderly-related-) armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting the typical (interwoven) white-coloured cross onto a bright (ie. cornflower-) blue-toned background and that came in an overall nice- (albeit I deem minimally used and/or slightly worn-), condition. This band signified that the bearer was an official member of the RLB and acted as a so-called: 'Feldscher' or: medical-orderly (these bands could also be worn with the civilian attire). The armband - which comes neatly stitched-together - measures approximately 37 x 10,5 cms. and comes in an overall very nice albeit (I deem) just moderately used- and/or worn condition: it is just a tiny bit stained and is somewhat wrinkled (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat - and actually quite unusually encountered! - TR-era, RLB-related 'Sanitäter'-armband that will be hard to be upgraded!
