Bronze-toned, HJ- (ie. DJ-) related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') showing a 'Reichsadler'-device, HJ-'Raute' and text that reads: 'Leistungsschau der Thur. Hitler-Jugend - Rudolstadt - Juli 1939'

This is an attractive - and with certainty quite scarcely found! - so-called: HJ- ('Hitlerjugend') ie. DJ- ('Deutsches Jungvolk') related day-badge or 'tinnie' (ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') showing a detailed 'Reichsadler'-device, HJ-'Raute' and text (in Runic-script!) that reads: 'Leistungsschau der Thur. Hitler-Jugend - Rudolstadt - Juli 1939' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued- ie. I deem just moderately worn-), condition. The shield-shaped piece is executed from golden-bronze toned- (ie. copper-coloured- ie. 'Eisenblech'-based) metal and is (as more often) totally void of a makers'designaton. The piece shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has not been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, minimally darkened- ie. tarnished, age-patina and holds most of its period-apllied finish). The medium-sized piece (having an approximate height of 4,8 cms.) comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that all youth-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'towns'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and truly unusally found! - HJ- ('Hitlerjugend'-) related, so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
