Superb, 4-pieced WH (LW) medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange')showing an: 'EK II.Kl.' (in the 'Schinkel'-pattern!), a: 'KvK II.Kl. mit Schw.', a: WH (LW) so-called: 'DA für 4 Jahre t. Dienste' and a: WH Czech 'Anschluss'-medal: '1. Oktober 1938'

This is a truly very attractive - just minimally used- and/or worn and is this particular combination quite rarely seen! - example of a truly early-war-period (and non-detachable!) four-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') that is respectively showing an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross second class) as executed in the scarcely seen 'Schinkel'-pattern!, a: neatly 'Buntmetall'-based: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz II. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: war-merits-cross second class with swords), a: WH (Luftwaffe) so-called: 'Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: or loyal-service medal for 4 years of loyal service) that comes with an nicely detailed, 'down-tailed'-pattern LW-eagle-device period-attached and a: WH Czech-occupation- (ie. 'Anschluss'-) medal: '1. Oktober 1938' (ie. 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938') as was awarded to all 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'-members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938' all four awards coming in an overall very nice- (and I deem just minimally used- and/or worn-), condition. All four awards are truly nicely preserved examples without showing any defaults that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted onto their period ribbons. The iron cross - which is void of any makers'-signification as is more often encountered - has never been cleaned nor polished and retains a very nice and attractive age-patina (the piece truly retains most of its so-called: 'hochpolierte Kanten' or: polished sides as can be seen on the pictures). The cross shows a very nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. satin-like) 'core' that is void of any damage or alike (no paint-loss is noticable as can be seen on the pictures). It does, however, show some dirt- ie. dust but has truly retained pronounced detail. The differences between a 'Schinkel'-form cross - which is in fact a smaller variant as mounted in a WWI-period IC-rim - and a regular type IC can easily be spotted when compared next to a regular format IC. The cross is a typical magnetic example that was (I deem) produced by the: 'Wilhem Deumer'-company. The detail on the 'KvK II. Klasse' is truly stunning and nicely preserved: it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished and has an attractive and/or minimally tarnished (ie. typical: 'Buntmetall'-based) age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The WH (Luftwaffe) loyal-service medal is a also a very nicely preserved example that seems to have never been cleaned nor polished: it comes in a minimally tarnished- ie. dusty condition and shows a neat silver-toned and typical early-styled (ie. 'down-tailed'-pattern) eagle-device, period-attached. The Czech 'Anschluss'-medal retains also all of its original, bright-golden-bronze-toned finish: it is also a tiny bit dirty ie. tarnished, simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage (as can be noticed on the pictures). The 'Spange' comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- (ie. catch-) set-up and is nicely 'backed' with a piece of bluish-grey-coloured wool as is more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike: it originated as stated above from a private-household and was kept as such for decades. Simply a very attractive - and decorative! - four-pieced, WH (Luftwaffe) related medal-bar- ie. 'Doppelspange' that is in my opinion with certainty, accordingly priced!
