The truly attractive IC-set - which was most certainly issued but that was simply never worn nor mounted - came together with its pre-folded, non-confectioned (and approx. 29 cms. long-sized) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and typical, blue-coloured- and/or 'Zellstoff'-based pouch as issued and/or stored for decades. The cross - which shows a clear makers'-designation: '66' stamped in its ring - was with certainty never cleaned and has a nice and attractive age-patina: it has, however, lost most of its so-called: 'hochpolierte Kanten' (or: polished sides) and has a somewhat darkened- ie. tarnished finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The cross has a nicely preserved, black-finished (ie. somewhat 'satin-like'- ie. typical 'matted-style'-) core: it is totally void of any paint-damage (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is just a tiny bit dusty and/or stained but was never cleaned nor polished. The cross is an evident specimen that was produced by the maker 'Friedrich Keller' (ie. 'Hersteller 66') as was based in the town of Oberstein and has nice and/or pronounced detail as to be expected for a cross by this desirable maker. The pouch comes in an equally nice albeit used condition: it is somewhat wrinkled and shows the printed makers'-designation: 'Friedrich Keller - Oberstein' on its back as can be noticed on the pictures. The IC-set was recently found at a German private-household and was truly never before in collectors'-hands. Simply an attractive – quite hard to find and fully complete! - 'EK II. Klasse'-set as was produced by the: 'Friedrich Keller'-company and that will be hard to be upgraded!
