This is an attractive - and actually not that easily found! - WH (Kriegsmarine ie. 'Küstenartillerie'-related) rank-chevron (ie. 'Gefreitenwinkel') as was specifically intended for usage on the various field-grey-coloured, naval: 'Küstenartillerie'-tunics being an example that is executed in the 'Alter Art'- (ie. old-style-) pattern as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberstabsmatrose' (or: 'Hauptgefreiter') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- and/or most certainly once-tunic-attached-), condition. The chevron is executed on typical field-grey-coloured wool and shows three stripes of the typical, golden-toned naval- ie. 'Küstenartillerie'-style NCO-braid attached. The piece is not 'backed' and does show some fraying and fair usage (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these neat naval rank-chevrons are with certainty not that easily encountered if needed. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a scarcely encountered naval- ie. 'Küstenartillerie'-related rank-chevron!
