Very unusual - and rarely found! - single-pieced, WH (ie. WWII-period) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing a miniature: 'DRK-Ehrenzeichen des 3. Modell' (or: German Red Cross ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' honorary-award of the third model)

This is an attractive - truly unusual and rarely found! - single-pieced, WH (ie. WWII-period) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') for a: 'DRK-Ehrenzeichen des 3. Modell' (or: German Red Cross ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' honorary-award of the third model) that is showing an unusual (and nicely enamelled!) miniature-device attached and that comes in a wonderful- (and only moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. This bar is of the regular- (ie. larger) sized, ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 2,5 cms. (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is 'backed' with a piced of field-grey-coloured wool (as more often). The attached (and detailed!) device shows some minimal age ie. tarnish but has been nicely preserved. This particular example was in my opinion only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive - and surely unusually observed! - WH-'Feld- o. Bandspange': great to decorate almost any WWII-tunic!
