This is an attractive - simply nver used- nor once tunic-attached and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) I deem early- (ie. mid-) war-period- and/or: 'standard-issue'-pattern, WH (Heeres) collar-tabs (or: 'Einheitskragenspiegel') being of the 'generic-pattern' (that come pre-mounted onto a darker-green-toned and woolen-based background) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. These desirable WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type collar-tabs (ie. 'Einheitskragenspiegel') are piped in the typical, darker-green-coloured (ie. 'generic'-styled) branchcolour and have an equally darker-green-coloured 'centre-stripe' and that were as such intended for usage by all soldiers (ie. NCOs) within all 'Heeres'-related branches of the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' throughout the war. The tabs come in an overall very nice condition and were presumably issued albeit never used (as can be seen on the pictures). The set just shows some minimal storage-age and/or staining and came 'off-factory'-mounted onto a piece of (smooth-based) darker-green-coloured wool. The pieces show the typical, reddish-beige-coloured- and/or buckram-based 'backings' as is more often seen. Simply a neat occasion to acquire such a minty pair: great to complete any WH-tunic or to be simply stored in any insignia-collection: it should be noted that these 'generic'-styled EM- (ie. NCO-) type pairs are nowadays fairly hard to encounter and are most certainly not that often offered for sale!
