Attractive - albeit moderately used- ie. worn - WH (Luftwaffe) bluish-grey-coloured, EM- (ie. NCO-) type side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchenmütze für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe')
Category:
This is an attractive, typically bluish-grey-coloured, enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) type side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchenmütze für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe') being a clearly maker-marked and/or: medium-sized example that shows its period-attached insignia and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn), condition. The cap - which is executed in the typical bluish-grey-coloured 'Luftwaffe'-pattern woolen-based cloth ie. wool - shows no damage whatsoever and is marked on the inside (ie. white ink-stamped): these markings are, however, somewhat 'faded' and are hard to decypher and were with certainty 'washed-out' during moderate usage and wear: I can only make out a makers'-designation: '… / Berlin W/29' (as can be seen on the pictures). The cap - which is I deem a typical example of a 'standard-issued'-type cap - is a regular-sized example that measures I deem 56 or 57 cms. (which is a size that would easily fit a mannequins'-head as can be seen on the pictures). The side-cap shows a neat, typical greyish-coloured (and linnen-based) lining (as can be seen on the pictures) something that is 'standard' for these side-caps The cap shows only minimal staining and/or age (just caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear) but truly retains all its woolen-based 'nap' and is totally void of any real damage. It shows a (typical) LW-side-cap-eagle (mounted onto a blue-coloured background) and equally styled cap-cocarde period-attached (by means of hand-stitching something that is more often found). Simply an attractive - and naturally 100% genuine! - example of an (I deem) early- ie. mid-war-period-pattern, 'Schiffchenmütze für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Luftwaffe' that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
