Rarely found, WH (Kriegsmarine) general-officers'-pattern cap-eagle (ie. 'Schirmmützen o. Schiffchenadler für Admirale der Kriegsmarine') as executed in (tarnished) golden-coloured, so-called: 'BeVo-flatwire-weave'-pattern

This is a truly very attractive - and with certainty very rarely encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) general-officers'-pattern cap-eagle (ie. 'Schirmmützen o. Schiffchenadler für Admirale der Kriegsmarine') as was executed in golden-coloured, so-called: 'BeVo-flatwire-weave'-pattern onto a darker-blue-coloured- and/or: linnen-based background and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. never cap-attached- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece is neatly executed and was never confectioned nor cap-attached: its comes 'as straightly cut-of the role' and will be very hard to be upgraded. It is executed in golden-coloured, thin-shaped 'braid' onto a truly darker-blue-coloured (and/or also linnen-based) background (as can be seen on the pictures). These very attractive cap-eagles saw usage on the general-officers'-pattern, WH-'Knautschmützen' ie. so-called: 'Alter-art'-visor-caps (or: 'Schirmmützen für Admirale des Heeres') although these eagles could also be worn on the 'high-quality', officers'-type side-caps (ie. 'Schiffchenmützen für Admirale der Kriegsmarine'). The piece on offer here shows some obvious age ie. staining (ie. tarnish) but nothing shocking. Nevertheless, is this a nice occasion to aquire a very attractive - and truly very rarely encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine), general-officers'-pattern cap-eagle (ie. 'Schirmmützen o. Schiffchenadler für Admirale der Kriegsmarine'): I deem that I have priced this superb example according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
