4-pieced, WWI- (ie. WWII-) period (ie. 'Polizei'-related) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing resp. a WWI-period: 'EKII. Kl.', a: 'KvK II.Kl. mit Schwn. ', a: 'FKK m. S. 1914-18' and a: 'Pol.-DA 1. Stf.'

This is a neat, somewhat larger-sized (ie. four-pieced!) WWI- (ie. WWII-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing respectively the ribbons for a: WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron-cross second class), a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords having a bronze-toned swords-device attached), a: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz mit Schwertern' having a bronze-toned swords-device attached) and a: 'Polizei-Dienstauszeichnung für 25 Jahre Treue Dienste o. 1. Stufe' (or: police 25-years loyal-service medal having a detailed, golden-toned eagle-device attached) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit used- and/or just moderately worn-), condition. All four ribbons are of the regular (ie. smaller) ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1,5 cms. each (as is more often encountered). The 'Spange' comes in a nice condition overall and is of course fully functional: it comes directly mounted onto a metal-based 'backing-plate' (as can be seen on the pictures). The attached (and detailed!) 'Auflagen' ie. sword-devices show some minimal age ie. tarnish but have all been nicely preserved. This particular example was I deem just moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply an attractive 'Band- o. Feldspange' showing various awards: great to decorate almost any TR-period tunic!
