Superb - and with certainty rarely encountered! - bright-silver-toned (and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based!) N.S.D.A.P.-A.O.-related badge (ie. 'Teilnehmer o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') entitled: 'Staatsbesuch Adolf Hitlers in Italien 1938'

This is a truly very attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered! - bright-silver-toned (and/or typical 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: N.S.D.A.P.- ie. A.O.- (or 'Auslands-Organisation Italien'-) related badge (ie. 'Teilnehmer o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') showing a detailed eagle-device flanked by two 'Liktorenbündel' (ie. 'Facces') surrounded by the text: 'Staatsbesuch Adolf Hitlers in Italien 1938' (and that was as such intended to commemorate Adolf Hitlers' official state-visit to Italy that took place in 1938) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. most certainly issued- ie. just minimally worn-), condition. The neat and pronounced- (and truly high-quality-produced!) badge - which has an approximate diameter of 4,5 cms. - shows a clear (Italian- ie. Rome-based) makers'-designation on its back (that reads: 'Julius Nottbrock - via Fattina 147 - Roma'). Next to this it also shows a superimposed designation, mentioning the designer 'Entwurf S. Fuchs' (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive badge shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (some minimal staining is, however, present and visible as can be seen on the pictures). It comes naturally mounted onto its (functional, typically thin-shaped) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. I have seen similar examples of this desirable badge sell for much more than my asking-price. Simply a very attractive - and most certainly rarely encountered - N.S.D.A.P.- ie. A.O.- (or 'Auslands-Organisation Italien'-) related commemorative badge that is priced according to its obvious rarity and/or desirability!
