WH-related 'Tapferkeitsauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 2. Kl. in Silber mit Schwn.' (being a 'Feinzink'-based example that comes mounted onto its period ribbon ie. 'Bandabschnitt')

This is an attractive - and not that often encountered! - example of a WH-related, so-called: 'Tapferkeitsauszeichnung für Angehörige der Ostvölker, 2. Klasse in Silber mit Schwertern' (or: 'Ostvölker' silver-class service-medal for shown bravery on the Eastern Front with swords) being a (typical) non-maker-marked- and/or: silvered 'Feinzink'-based example that came mounted onto its period-attached ribbon ('Bandabschnitt') as issued and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem only minimally used ie. worn-) condition. The exampe on offer is of the silver- (ie. second-) class with swords that truly retains almost all of its silver-toned finish and still retains great pronounced detail (it is just a tiny bit tarnished- ie. dirty as to be expected but was never cleaned nor polished as can be seen on the pictures). The typical (darker-green-coloured- and white-striped) ribbon was still attached: it was just minimally shortened and measures 12 cms. in length. Simply an attractive 'Ostvölker'-related medal that will be hard to be upgraded!
