This is a very attractive - and actually rarely encountered and truly luxuriously styled! - HJ- ie. BDM- (ie. 'Hitlerjugend'- or: 'Bund Deutscher Mädel'-) related, commemorative day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsplakette') being a bright silver-toned- and typical light-weight, frosted (ie. I deem 'versilbertes Buntmetall'-) based example as was issued to commemorate a specific youth-rally ie. gathering that was held in the year 1939 and that shows a (typical) HJ-eagle-device holding in its claws a hammer and sword and that is entitled: 'Bann 443 - Sieger Fähnlein - 1939' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. just moderately worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge - that has an approximate wingspan of 8 cms. - truly shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The badge shows three holes (intended to attach it to a tunic or shirt). Simply a very attractive - and with certainty rarely seen! - youth-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsplakette' that comes truly not that often for sale!
