The attractive - and actually not that easily found! - circular-shaped day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-toned and typical zinc-based metal (ie. pot-metal) and depicts a detailed illustration of the: 'Gauleiter' of the 'Gau Bayreuth' named: Hans Schemm, commemorating his death on 5 March 1935 and that comes in an overall nice condition. The 'hollow-back'-pattern day-badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished: it just shows some minimal staining but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' - which is totally void of a makers'-designation - truly retains all of its (typical, minimally tarnished) bright golden-coloured finish. The person Hans Schemm (6 October 1891 - 5 March 1935) was a German educator who became a prominent N.S.D.A.P.-official. He served as: 'Gauleiter' of the 'Gau Bayreuth' and was the Bavarian State Minister for Education and Culture until his death in an airplane accident that took place on 5 March 1935. Simply an attractive - and not that easily encountered! - so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
