Fairly early-period, silver-toned D.A.F.- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate the: 'D.A.F.-Kreisaufmarsch - Gera - 1934'

This is an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - fairly early-period, D.A.F.- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that is executed in silverish-grey-toned- (I deem) tin- ie. pot-metal-based metal and that depicts a man that loosens his chains mounted upon a 'swastika'-device that shows the text: 'D.A.F.-Kreisaufmarsch - Gera - 1934' and that was as such intended for a: D.A.F.- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related gathering ie. rally. The medium-sized- and swastika-shaped badge - which measures approximately 3,8 x 3,8 cms. - is void of any makers'-designation and comes in an overall nice (albeit issued and/or minimally worn-), condition: it shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (some minimal staining is, however, present and visible as can be seen on the pictures). It comes naturally mounted on its (functional) pin-/catch set-up. It should be noted that this particular day-badge-design was used by various organisations: several versions of the same tinnie do exist. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered! - D.A.F.- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related 'tinnie' that is I deem accordingly priced!
