This is a truly very attractive - and rarely found! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) colourful-enamelled, so-called: 'Traditions-Mützen- o. Staffelabzeichen' being a neatly maker- (ie. 'Lauer - Nürnberg'-) marked example as was intended for usage by a member who served within the: 'Zerstörergeschwader 76' (aka: 'ZG 76') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The colourful diamond- (ie. 'Raute'-) shaped badge (ie. lapel-pin) has truly immaculate enamel (without showing any damage!) and depicts a black-coloured plane (ie. typical 'ME 110') onto a white- and/or black-coloured and/or silver-rimmed background (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat badge - which has an approximate height of only 3,2 cms. - is executed in neat, silver-coloured- and enamelled 'Buntmetall'. The neat lapel-pin comes as stated above in a very nice condition and comes naturally mounted onto its long-sized pin. It shows some minimal age ie. wear but is as stated fully undamaged and was, moreover, never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty- ie. stained). Simply an attractive - and with certainty not often- ie. truly rarely encountered! - Luftwaffe-related item that presumably belonged to a pilot serving within the famous 'Zerstörergeschwader 76': I deem that this particular item would merit some further investigative work!
