The truly attractive - quite early-period and most certainly very unusually seen! - typical 'N.S.D.A.P.'- related 'day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-coloured and/or (I deem) typical tin-based so-called: pot-metal: it shows some minimal wear and/or moderate age (but has never been cleaned nor polished and retains a nicely preserved, age-patina). The shield-shaped day-badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and shows some minimal age- and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and shows an illustration of a towns'-view, statue of a horse and swastika coupled with the text and date as mentioned above. It should be noted that all (early-period- ie. pre 1933!) 'N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at towns'-level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'very scarce'. Of course, did I price this attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - example accordingly!
