This is a neat example of a longer-sized (ie. 7-pieced!), WH (Heeres etc.) medal-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') showing resp. the ribbons for an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross 2nd class), 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords), a: 'Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941-42' (or: 'Ost'-medal), a: 'Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938' (as was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia that started on: '1. Oktober 1938'), a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal) and two (higher class!) 'WH (Heeres) Dienstauszeichnungen für 12 u. 25 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: loyal-service medals for respectively 12 and 25 years of loyal service and that come both with a detailed, smaller-sized and bright golden-coloured eagle-device firmly attached, all seven ribbons (and 'Auflagen'!) coming in and overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The piece - which shows its bars in the 'standard'- (ie. regular or 1,5 cm. wide-) version and that is confectioned in a 'regular manner' - is fully functional and comes mounted onto its functional pin- and/or catch set-up: the piece is, moreover, not 'backed' with wool but comes crimped onto a chromed-metal-based 'backing-plate' (as is more often seen). Simply an attractive - larger-sized! - WWII-period: 'Feld- o. Bandspange' that will be ideal to upgrade or decorate almost any TR-related tunic!
