This is a truly interesting - and with certainty very scarcely encountered! - WWII-period 'souvenir-item' (ie. tiny note-book) showing an illustration of of a steel-helmet and upright-positioned sword coupled with the text: 'Westfront' and that comes as stored for decades and that comes in an overall wonderful (and truly nicely preserved!), condition. The neat - smaller-sized and chromed-metal-based - piece (measuring only 7,5 x 5 cms.) has truly pronounced detail and was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished: it is of course still functional and comes with almost all its pages (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece came as issued and/or stored for decades. These attractive, souvenir-pieces could be acquired in specialised shops and or canteens (ie. 'Kasinos') and made a great period means of creating interest in the greater war-effort. Simply an attractive - and surely very unusually encountered! - WH-related 'promotional- ie. souvenir-piece' that is I deem with certainty accordingly priced!
