This is an attractive - and truly used- and/or carefully side-cap-removed! - example of a WH (Heeres) - very early- ie. pre-war-period! - white-coloured side-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schiffchenadler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern on a typical greyish- (ie. bluish-green-) coloured background and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. clearly used- and/or carefully side-cap-removed-), condition. The eagle is executed in white-coloured linnen onto a greyish- (ie. bluish-green-) coloured (and also linnen-based-) background and saw usage directly after the 'Reichswehr'-period (I deem around in the years 1935/36). It should be noted that especially these early-type side-cap-eagles are nowadays not that easily encountered: something that merits my asking-price. The piece on offer here comes in an overall very nice- (ie. neatly confectioned- and/or pre-folded-) condition and comes as carefully cap-removed: the stitching-holes are still present and visible (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - which is executed in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern as to be expected - shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining and can naturally easily serve to restore any early-pattern 'Heeres Schiffchen'. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an early-pattern WH side-cap-eagle for a competitive price!
