Early-period - larger-sized- and/or typical golden-toned - so-called: pre-'Reichsnährstand'- (ie. 'RNSt.'-) related, commemorative-award-plaque entitled: 'Landwirtschaftskammer Rheinland Nassau - Für Leistungen in der Schafzucht'

This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often encountered! - somewhat larger-sized- and/or typical golden-toned, so-called: (pre) 'Reichsnährstand'- (ie. 'RNSt.'-) related, commemorative-award-plaque (ie. 'nichttragbare Plakette') entitled: 'Landwirtschaftskammer Rheinland Nassau' (and on its back the class ie. performance being: 'Für Leistungen in der Schafzucht' ie. sheep-breeding) and that comes as issued and kept as such for decades. The table-medal was apparently awarded for outstanding achievement in a by the: 'Landwirtschaftskammer Rheinland Nassau'-organised farmers'-contest held in (I deem) the late-twenties. The neat - medium- (ie. smaller) sized- and/or regular-weight-piece that shows a detailed, provincial shield - has an approximate diameter of 5,3 cms. and has very pronounced detail as to be expected. It was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and has maintained a neat (somewhat matted- ie. frosted-) copper-toned age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates from an extensive and larger-sized 'Reichsnährstand'- (ie. 'RNSt.'-) related collection that was compiled over 40 years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - (pre) 'Reichsnährstand'-related table-medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille' as was awarded for succesful sheep-breeding and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
