This is a truly used and/or worn example of an (I deem) somewhat later-war-period so-called: WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Flottenkriegsabzeichen' (or: naval high-sea fleet-badge) being a typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based and/or non-maker-marked example that was produced by the maker: 'Steinhauer & Lück' (ie. 'S&L') and that comes in an overall nice- (as stated clearly used- and/or worn-), condition. The still very detailed - and/or pronounced! - badge has regrettably lost its original, golden- (ie. silverish-grey) toned finish (it has clearly 'migriert' over the years as is more often the case with these zinc-based war-badges). The war-badge - which is a typically molded-style, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based example - comes of course mounted onto its (fully unaltered!) functional (peculiar-shaped- and/or copper-based) pin and/or catch(set-up) (both being typical for these by the 'Steinhauer & Lück'- (ie. 'S&L'-) company produced naval war-badges). The badge on offer here was with certainty never cleaned nor polished and was recently uncovered at a private-household in Germany. I deem that I priced this - actually fairly scarcely encountered and fully untouched! - naval-war-badge, accordingly!
