Very unusual, golden-bronze-toned- (and/or carton-based!) SA-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate the: 'Deutsche Gepäckmarsch-Meisterschaften - Leipzig - 8.5.1938'

This is a truly attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - so-called: SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungs-Abzeichen') being an example that is executed in golden-bronze-toned, carton-based material (ie. 'Pappkarton' resembling metal!) and that depicts the larger-sized 'Reichsadler'-device, the famous 'Kyfhäuser-Denkmal' and an 'SA-Sportabzeichen' surrounded by the text: 'Deutsche Gepäckmarsch-Meisterschaften - Leipzig - 8.5.1938' and that was as such intended for an: SA-related gathering ie. rally held in the year 1938. The larger-sized day-badge - which has an approximate height of 5,8 cms. and shows a stamped makers'-designation on its back that is hard to decypher - comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued and/or just minimally worn-), condition: it shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (some minimal staining is, however, present and visible as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Tinnie' comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin-/catch set-up. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered - SA-related (and locally-issued!) 'tinnie' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
