This is an attractive - and actually unusually seen! - so-called: DAF/NSBO- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'- ie. 'Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation') related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific DAF- (ie. N.S.B.O.-) related event that was held in the town of Gotha on 29th October 1933 and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in golden-bronze-toned- and - I deem- typical tin-based (pot)metal - shows the DAF- (ie. N.S.B.O.-) device (ie. hammer and cog-wheel) above a larger-sized swastika and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The shield-shaped badge is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, DAF/NSBO-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
