The neat and truly early-period - and actually not that often seen! - 'Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Frontkämpferbund Stahlhelm'- (or: 'N.S.D.F.B.St.'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in silver-toned and (I deem typical) zinc-based (ie. pot-) metal: it shows some (moderate) wear and/or age and was never cleaned nor polished (it is just a tiny bit tarnished). The day-badge comes mounted onto its period-attached pin- (ie. pin-catch) and shows just minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is truly detailed and has a typical silver-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The peculiar-shaped piece shows the typical 'N.S.D.F.B.St.'-logo which is mounted onto an Edelweiss-flower and is showing the text: '10. Reichsfrontsoldatentag - München - 1929'. It should be noted that all 'Der Stahlhelm - Bund der Frontsoldaten (Sta)'-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'towns'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a nice - and with certainty unusally seen! - 'N.S.D.F.B.St.'-related piece!
