This is an attractive, golden-bronze-toned and typical zinc- (ie. 'pot-metal'-) based so-called: 'DAF/KdF'- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeits Front o. Kraft durch Freude'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a specific cruise or meeting and that is depicting an illustration of a large vessel ie. cruise-ship, swastika-flag and text that reads: 'N.S. Gemeinschaft Kraft durch Freude - Seefahrt - Gau Düsseldorf - 1935' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced (circular-shaped) day-badge - is totally void of a makers'-designation and shows very nice detail: it was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (and shows some minimal staining, mainly on its back). The day-badge comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. Simply a neat - and most certainly scarcely encountered! - 'DAF/KdF'- (ie.'Deutsches Arbeits Front o. Kraft durch Freude'-) related 'tinnie' that is I deem, accordingly priced!
