Superb - scarcely found and German-language issued! - European volunteer-related book(let) entitled: 'Aufbruch - Briefe germanischer Kriegsfreiwilliger' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit used- ie. read, condition)

This is an attractive - sought-after and actually scarcely found and German-language issued! - European volunteer-related book(let) entitled: 'Aufbruch - Briefe germanischer Kriegsfreiwilliger' (which can be freely translated as: 'Germanic Awakening - Letters from the Germanic volunteers') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. complete albeit used- ie. read, condition). This book(let) measures approximately 21 x 15 cms. and holds approximately 100 pages. It shows a foreword of the: 'Reichsführer-SS' Heinrich Himmler and was published on 20. April, 1942. The book(let) contains excerpts from letters from Dutch, Flemish, Swiss- and Norwegian volunteers and shows several memorial-pages concerning volunteers whow were killed in action (as can be seen in the pictures). This publication was the (original) German language version: and as can be noticed was there also a Dutch language version (entitled: 'Germaansch Ontwaken - Brieven van Germaanse Vrijwilligers') which I offer under nr. 74078. The (fragile!) piece comes in an overall nice- (albeit used- ie. read-) condition and just shows some minimal yellowing and usage: moreover, does it show an inked dedication on page 2 as can be seen on the pictures. Simply a very desirable and interesting example of the German-language- ie. SS-issued publication: 'Aufbruch - Briefe germanischer Kriegsfreiwilliger' that is quite hard to encounter!
